Ways to Give

The Leonard Pool Society

Judy Puchyr

“The single greatest asset the Lehigh Valley community needs is good quality health care in all lifecare specialties. Being part of the Leonard Pool Society that works to ensure this vision is extremely rewarding. Twenty-six years ago when our family needed care for our son, we had to travel two hours away from our community to find the specialized care he needed. I’ll never forget the tremendous strain it placed on our family during an already unbearable situation. Today, thankfully, most families should be able to find the care they need right here at Lehigh Valley Hospital Health Network!”

- Judy Puchyr

When he founded Lehigh Valley Hospital—Cedar Crest, Leonard Parker Pool made a commitment to ensuring that people in the Lehigh Valley have access to the best possible health care. He dreamed of a hospital that would stand among the leading clinical, educational and research facilities in the country.

Today, his vision is realized at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, and members of The Leonard Pool Society help further his vision through a dedicated partnership and annual giving commitment.

The Society is built upon the cornerstones of fellowship, philanthropy, advocacy and support. Through educational and social events, members become informed community leaders, able to share information and perspectives of both the community and the network. This knowledge, combined with their generous financial contributions, enables them to make important decisions with significant community impact.

How it Helps

How to Join

You can become a member of The Leonard Pool Society by making an individual, annual, unrestricted donation of $1,000 or more. Membership includes recognition and invitations to educational and social events throughout the year.

You can learn about the inner workings of the hospital through tours and talks, and get to know others who share your commitment to health care in the Lehigh Valley. You will be invited to the annual meeting, at which time you will vote on how the aggregate donations will be used. Just as the sum is greater than its parts, these pooled resources enable members to make significant gifts that have a greater impact.

We regularly welcome new members to The Leonard Pool Society. To join, or for more information, call Christina Schoemaker, director, annual giving, at 610-402-6385.
